Classmates!!!!!  The Big 50 TH REUNION!!!!!  IS NEXT YEAR!!!!

Classmates we had our first meeting.  We had a good turn out....Our classmates are always a wonderful group to work together.  As you could see most of our classmates wanted to have the reunion at the Hotel in downtown Ashland.  It was 70%, however we could not book the hotel because of circumstances beyond our control.  As of this time the Hotel has stopped serving food...We would have had to rent the hotel and then have the food catered.  The cost was going to be well beyond our budget.  The next choice was the Elks(15%) Country club(8%)People who did not care was (5%). 

We looked into The Shrine Bldg, Eagles, American Legion Hall and Steelworkers Hall. Even Carter Caves and Greenbo. (2 or 3 times each)  It was decided that to please as many people as possible we would do something we had never done before, split the locations .  The first night Sept 28,2012 it will be  at the Elks.  The second night  Sept 29 it will be in the Country Club.  The biggest complaint was the Country Club was too far away from Ashland, but after talking to other classes 1957,1958,1960, they say it is no problem.....no one has been arrested or got lost....

The cost will not be anymore we have a classmate that has donated the rental for the Country Club...So all we will pay for is the dinners.

We have wonderful classmates who have already call to see what we needed donated to make the cost the same or close to the 45 th reunion.

We still have a lot to plan.  I will let you know after the next meeting.
